To waive the Rowan University insurance coverage, follow these steps:
Go to Student Self-Service:
1. Click "Access Banner Services (secure area)"
2. Enter your Rowan ID number and PIN
3. At the Main Menu click "Student Health Insurance Waiver"
**You will be required to enter your insurance company name and policy number.
If you are enrolled in less than 12 credit hours for undergraduate students or 9 credit hours for graduate students, you will NOT be charged for health insurance. If you would like to review information and costs regarding the Rowan University Health coverage, click here: healthcoverage.
RowanSOM and CMSRU Students:
To waive Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM)and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) insurance coverage, follow this link to www.firststudent.com and then click on the link for "Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine." or "Rowan University - Cooper Medical School." You will find the link to the waiver form on the left.
