Federal Direct Loan Borrowers

 

Loan Entrance Counseling Requirement!

As a first-time borrower, you must complete the On-line Entrance Counseling Session in order to retain your Direct Student Loan.
 
Click on the link above to access the site.  At the site, read the tutorial and take the short quiz. Make sure to select "Rowan University" as the school to be notified of your successful completion.   The Bursar’s Office will be automatically notified upon completion.
 
If you are not able to complete the session on-line, please stop at the Bursar’s Office in Savitz Hall to complete the session in person.
 
Entrance Counseling is required of all first-time Direct Loan borrowers.

Loan Exit Counseling Requirement!

As a borrower who is leaving the University, you must complete the

On-line Exit Counseling Session in order to finalize your Direct Student Loan and exit the University.

Click on the link above to access the site.  At the site, read the valuable session information and take the short quiz.  Make sure to verify "Rowan University" as the school to be notified of your successful completion.  We'll be notified automatically and update your student account accordingly.

If you are not able to complete the session on-line, please stop at the Bursar’s Office in Savitz Hall to complete the session in person.  Students who do not complete the session on-line or in-person will be provided with written counseling materials through the mail.

Exit Counseling is required of all Direct Loan borrowers who are graduating, enroll less then 1/2 time, or for those students who withdraw or cease enrollment.
