RowanCard Security Procedures Reminder

Due to some recent incidents involving RowanCard transactions with our merchants, the RowanCard office would like to remind students about the security policies involving RowanCard purchases and student responsibilities when using your RowanCard at our participating merchant locations which require the cooperation of our students. Please familiarize yourself with the procedures below:

1. Student must present their RowanCard to complete a transaction.
2. Delivery service will require the student to present their RowanCard at the delivery location. If you do not have your RowanCard on you at the time of delivery, the driver is not to leave the order.
3. Students should sign the merchant receipt so their name is legible enough to be read.
4. Delivery drivers will now be required to print the students name from the RowanCard underneath the student’s signature on the receipt.
5. Manual entry of ID numbers is NOT allowed for any transactions made at a merchant location.
6. If a merchant believes that the photo on the RowanCard presented to them does not match the customer, the merchant may request a second form of identification or confiscate the card and contact the university.
7. Be diligent and watch your transactions by logging onto https://myrowancard.rowan.ed, if you suspect fraudulent activity, report it to Public Safety immediately.

It is critical that these guidelines be followed in order to provide a safe and efficient service to the Rowan community. If you have any suggestions that you feel may help to improve our policies please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Meal Plan Requests

Meal Plans cannot be purchased on-line. If you would like to purchase a meal plan please contact the RowanCard Office at (856) 256-4150 option 2. Payment must be made at the time the meal plan is added to a student's account.

Students can decrease their meal plan during the first two weeks of the semester. The last day to decrease for the spring semester is Friday, February 1st.

Boro Bucks - 2 ways to add funds

To add funds to your 'Boro Bucks account for immediate use simply go to: myrowancard.rowan.edu and log in with your Net ID and password.  Follow the steps to deposit money using a credit card.  The funds will be available in your 'Boro Bucks account once your credit card transaction is complete.

Parents or relatives can easily & instantly add funds to your 'Boro Bucks account with a credit card at the guest log in area using your Rowan ID #.

Add funds to your 'Boro Bucks account for the upcoming term using available credit from your student tuition account or with a credit card.  Log into "Secure Area" with your Rowan ID & PIN.  Select "Bursar Services" - "Buy 'Boro Bucks using financial aid credit." 

** Boro Bucks added in person at the Bursar's Office or on-line at www.rowan.edu/selfservice will be available on your RowanCard within one hour.
