Students can draw upon three accounts when using the RowanCard—the Meal Plan, Dining Dollars account and 'Boro Bucks account. Please be aware that Dinning Dollars can only be used for food purchases on-campus. 'Boro Bucks can be used at any food location as well as any other purchase wherever the RowanCard is accepted.
To open either account, visit the Bursar's Office in Savitz Hall, ground level. Once the account is open, students can continue to deposit money in person or on-line through student services.
Adding funds to accounts
Students cannot add Dining Dollars to their accounts. Students can, however, add money to their 'Boro Bucks account. To do so, students have the option of doing this in person at the Bursar's Office, by sending a check payment to the office (referencing the student's account number) or on-line through student services.
Checking account balances
There are two ways students can check RowanCard account balances:
- Visit the Bursar's Office and ask for their account spending history
- The myrowancard site on the web
Unused balances in the RowanCard 'Boro Bucks are refundable only at the end of the school year upon written request. Checks will be issued for balances of $10.00 or more. Otherwise, balances in this account carry forward to the next school year without penalty.
