Fall 2017 Registration and Payment Information

  • Undergraduate registration begins Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Please click here for more information.
    • Once it opens for your particular student classification, registration remains open until the end of the Regular Drop/Add period for the Part of Term in which the course(s) appears.
    • Priority registration for undergraduates opens up at 7 a.m. the day before regular registration.
    • Matriculated students may enroll for classes during designated time periods and afterward. (Registration remains open online for add/drops, etc. through Regular Drop/Add [see “Registration Activity Chart”].)
    • Please see the “Fall 2017 Registration Activity Chart” for additional dates and deadlines for the term related to Drop/Add and withdrawals.
  • Non-matriculated students register starting Monday, April 17, 2017.
  • All Graduate students may register throughout the entire registration period.
  • On or about July 18, 2017: Fall 2017 bills available for viewing.
  • Tuesday, August 15, 2017: Fall 2017 Payment Deadline
  • AFTER August 15, 2017: Payment for registration made after August 15, 2017 is due at the time of registration.

Undergraduate Tuition and Fees - Fall 2017 and Spring 2018

Full-Time Undergraduate Rate

Any matriculated undergraduate student who registers for between 12 and 17 semester hours will be subject to the flat tuition rate. Should the number of semester hours exceed the flat tuition rate, a per credit hour increase shall apply (as noted in table above); however, fees will NOT increase.

Audit Course Fee - Same as tuition per semester hour.


Business Course Fee
Students may be subject to a $12.00 business course fee, depending upon the course in which they are enrolled.


Education Students
Full-time education students will be charged a $50.00 per semester Educational Field Experience Fee. There is also a $300.00 College of Education edTAP Assessment Fee, as applicable.

Engineering Students
Full-time engineering students will be charged a $250.00 per semester Engineering Differential Fee. Part-time engineering students will be charged a $20.00 per credit hour Engineering Differential Fee.

Insurance Fee - All full-time matriculated students are charged for health insurance.  If you have personal coverage, students may waive this fee by logging into Banner Student Self-Service and completing the health insurance waiver form.


Matriculated Undergraduate Students
Matriculated undergraduate students will be charged additional tuition per credit hour for hours in excess of 17 credit hours.

Parking Permit - All parking permits must be purchased on the WEB at http://www.thepermitstore.com. Have your Rowan ID, vehicle information and payment method available.

Rowan ID Fee - Every new Rowan student is assessed this one-time $10.00 fee. The cost is $25.00 for a replacement ID.
