Business Administration: Human Resource Management

Recruit, manage, hire, train, manage benefits, pensions and oversee labor relations; Human Resource Management covers a wide range of important and legal aspects of managing business. The greatest advantage to studying HR at Rowan is the size. Unlike at larger schools, you can meet and talk with your professors whenever you want to discuss anything from coursework to your career.

As an HR major, you can join Rowan's active student SHRM chapter (Society for Human Resource Management). SHRM is the largest professional society in the world devoted exclusively to the human resource profession. The Rowan University student chapter, established in 1976, has been a consistent National Superior Merit Award Chapter (the Superior Merit Award is given to only 60 chapters of the 330 student chapters nation-wide).

And, how about real-world learning through exciting internships in such places as Trump Hotel and Casino Resorts? Perhaps you could help "the Donald" decide who will be the next Apprentice.
