A Message from Dr. Ali A. Houshmand

Dear Members of the Rowan University Community:

It’s that time of year again!  The annual Employee Charitable Campaign will begin in a few weeks.  Lin Sweeten, Assistant Dean College of Communications and Margaret Van Brunt, Assistant Dean Rohrer College of Business will be serving as Co-Chairs of the Campaign this year.  They have been working on the campaign including the solicitation of some wonderful daily prizes donated this year.  Pledge early and you will be eligible for these wonderful prizes throughout the campaign.

Once again, we are combining the Employee Charitable Campaign and the Annual Fund Campaign for the Rowan University Foundation.  You may again donate to the charity of your choice, or you can donate to Rowan.  All of the gifts will be tallied together, as part of our total campaign.

Our target this year is $100,000.  Payroll deduction is a relatively painless way to make a contribution, and it can be as little as $2.00 per pay period.

I do hope that you can find it possible to help your neighbors in the community or to help the University as we attempt to maintain a high quality, affordable education. 

This year promises to be exceptional in many ways, including the Employee Charitable Campaign. Please accept my warmest wishes for an outstanding fall semester and 2011-12 academic year.
