Current Students

Rowan University at Camden provides academic support services for students attending classes in Camden . The student services include: registration, advising, tutoring, counseling and various other services. Programs and services offered by Rowan at Camden complement the academic programs of the campus and university. In addition to the support services located in the Camden facility, students taking courses at Rowan at Camden may also use the library of Rutgers-Camden.

Barnes and Noble at Rowan University at Camden
Barnes and Noble is the operator of the University District Bookstore providing services to all Rowan at Camden students, faculty and staff. Faculty teaching at Rowan at Camden may order course textbooks directly through the store. Students taking courses at Rowan at Camden can purchase their textbooks at the Barnes and Noble University District Bookstore. The bookstore has everything that you need for college. Also featured are a great selection of officially licensed Rowan clothing and gifts, academic-priced software, snacks, reference materials, and greeting cards. Students may use their Rowan card throughout the bookstore.

Computing Services
Our facility houses 65+ PCs. One lab is dedicated to teaching and is equipped with an LCD projector. There are also two open labs. Open lab hours are as follow:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm

Student Organizations
RU CASA (Rowan University at Camden Alliance of Student Activities) provides a host of diverse programs and events for the student body of Rowan University at Camden. During the early part of the fall semester a Welcome Back event is sponsored for new and returning students. During the month of November, students organize a series of programs in celebration of Hispanic heritage. In recognition of the winter holidays, the organization hosts a toy drive. The student organization also organizes events to commemorate Asian Heritage, Black History and Women's History months.

The officers for Fall 2011-Spring 2012 are:

Library Services
Rowan at Camden students can conduct research while taking classes in Camden by using the Rutgers-Camden Paul Robeson Library. Rowan at Camden students have full access to the facility and ability to check-out books. In order to use the library, Rowan at Camden students must have a valid student identification card.

Ms. Donna Wertheimer, Reference Librarian, is available to assist all Rowan at Camden students, however, any member of the library is willing to help you with your academic assignments.

Parking

Students may park in the Camden County College parking garage and pay a daily/monthly/semester fee. Parking decals purchased through Rowan University are only applicable to parking at the Glassboro Campus. For more information please contact Rowan at Camden University staff at (856) 756-5400.

Camden-Glassboro Shuttle
Students in courses at Rowan at Camden may also take courses, attend events and activities at the Glassboro campus. A university shuttle travels daily between the Camden and Glassboro campuses for students. The shuttle is free, however, students may be required to present their Rowan University ID upon request. Tutoring
Students taking courses at Rowan at Camden have access to free tutoring. The campus provides one on one individual tutoring appointments for courses such as Algebra, Pre-calculus, Calculus, and English Composition. Rowan at Camden employs peer, graduate and faculty level tutors. Tutors are available Monday through Thursday. Click here to make an appointment for tutoring.
