Spanning more than 30 years, the exhibit demonstrates that Cole (best known for his sculpture), through his works on paper, has made deep cultural and personal impressions. The show highlights the range of his prints and shows how he contrasts the dichotomies of life in New Jersey, as well as those of the wider landscape of America.

Dr. Cynthia Glover will provide an interactive presentation on the representations of women of color in Hip-Hop culture. The images of women in hip-hop culture and especially videos continue to evoke much controversy and debate. While some view these scantily clad women as merely sexual objects, others portray them as independent females getting paid. Glover will offer an invigorating discussion on some of these contentious issues and much more. Admission is free.
