This exhibition focuses attention on the changeability of meaning. With an eye toward rethinking the context of certain concepts, the work in this exhibit seeks to alter the meaning of familiar subjects by combining them with (or transforming them into) updated or contradictory information; they take away what is assumed and replace it with something that may be completely unexpected. The Office of Multicultural Affairs in collaboration with the Sociology Club and Progressive Student Association invites the Rowan community to a panel discussion centered on the equitable treatment of all citizens by civil servant authorities. The panel will be comprised of victims and family members of persons who have suffered police brutality.
