The world's largest student film festival is coming to Rowan this spring. Campus MovieFest provides students with everything they need - HD Camcorders, Apple laptops, and training and support - to make a movie in one week. Rowan University Art Gallery presents the exhibit "Common Interests: mobility and transformation of public life" from January 22 through March 16.

"Common Interests" is a survey of projects that question how public space and public assets are managed, offering theoretical and practical ideas for reclaiming autonomy in public space. Working with sculpture, interventions, social practice, drawing, performance and video, the exhibiting artists reflect on the limitations and possibilities of public space, proposing new ways of accessing, navigating and improving these shared resources. Guest curated by Sara Reisman, the exhibition features work by Pierluigi Calignano, Sue Jeong Ka, Jonggeon Lee, Mary Mattingly, Diego Medina, Francesco Simeti, Tattfoo Tan, Lan Tuazon and Alex Villar.

Admission is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Monday - Friday, 10 am - 5 pm (extended to 7 pm on Wednesday); and Saturday, 12 - 5 pm.

Dracula is the owner and operator of an exclusive resort for the creatures who go bump in the night. He goes into overprotective mode when a human boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teen daughter. Come watch Hotel Transylvania with SUP at 9 p.m. in the SC Ballroom. All Rowan students, regardless of major, are invited to participate in our meetings and events!

Students are granted contact hours for participating in StudentCare.

Meetings are Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. in the Rec Center conference room. Please bring your Rowan ID to gain entrance to the Rec Center.
