StudentCare - Uniting Students to Help other Students While Against all Odds

StudentCare was founded in September 2008 and grew from a handful of members to over twenty-five dedicated students.  This group learns about an array of health and wellness topics. Students are trained in peer facilitation skills to help other students who are struggling.  StudentCare also reaches out to the Rowan community by participating in numerous on-campus events.  They typically meet as a group once a week. In fall 2009, the group will meet on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30pm in Room EDUC 3109.

During the 2008-2009 school year, StudentCare participated in the forum to discuss underage drinking, Kick Butts Day, Don't Waste Away in Margaritaville and other Rowan events.
