Dr. Robert Krchnavek
Co-Director for Center of Materials Research and Education Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Rowan Hall
My research interests are in the areas of nanotechnology, MEMS, photonics, electromagnetics, and materials processing. I have received funding from NSF, DOD, and numerous industrial sponsors. Teaching interests include the areas of electromagnetics, wireless communications, fiber optics, and electronics. I am a member of the IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu, and ASEE. Current research activities include nanoimprint lithography, MEMS-based optical switching, and theoretical analysis of optical discontinuities in multimode waveguides.
