Physics Department, Science Hall
My interests include a wide variety of problems under the main heading of electronic materials. My primary focus is on understanding the magnetic properties of materials and working to develop new magnetic compounds for a variety of applications from high-speed communications to quantum computing. I also study structural materials for use at very high temperatures, thermo-electric materials for new types of refrigeration and power generation, and dielectric materials for cellular communications.
