Dear Student,
The Offices of Residence Life & University Housing at Rowan University would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new incoming freshmen/ transfer students as well as touch base with our returning residential students. We are busy preparing for the upcoming academic year and would like to provide you with some important information.
OTHER IMPORTANT DATES/INFORMATION
Freshman move-in day is scheduled for Saturday, August 30 and Upperclass move-in day is scheduled for Sunday, August 31, 2008 from 8am–4pm. Students should report directly to the building to which they have been assigned.
Early Move-In
A resident may qualify for an early arrival if they are part of an approved program. If you are unsure whether or not your program is approved for early arrival, please contact your program coordinator or coach. Early arrival dates will be communicated to the residents through their program sponsor or coach.
Payment
All current billing charges must be paid by the August deadline in order to receive your key. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in the loss of your housing assignment and courses. The Bursar's Office, located on the ground floor in Savitz Hall, will be open on August 30 and 31 between 10am and 4pm to assist students with billing questions.
Room Swap
Room swap period will occur during the third week of the Fall semester. Instructions on how to request a room swap will be posted online at the begining of the semester.
Meningitis vaccination
Please be advised that all vaccination records, including a meningitis vaccination, are required before moving on campus. Confirmation of your meningitis vaccination must be received by the Health Center before opening day for students to receive a room key.
If you have any questions regarding your immunization records, please contact the Health Center at 856-256-4333. Health records must be submitted directly to the Student Health Center. Please mail the documentation to The Student Health Center, Linden Hall, 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro NJ, 08028 or fax them to 856-256-4427.
Please Note: Due to Health Information Privacy restrictions, the Offices of Residence Life & University Housing cannot accept medical records.
