The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation

Elizabeth Glaser,
an AEPhi sister from the Univeristy of Wisconsin,
required a blood transfusion after giving
birth to her daughter, Ariel, in 1981. The blood
was tainted with teh HIV virus, and she unknowingly
passed the disease to Ariel and later, to her son, Jake.
Elizabeth founded the Pediatric AIDS Foundation,
which was honored with her name after her death in 1994.
The foundation funds scientific research for children afflicted with HIV.

Sharsheret

Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization of cancer survivors
dedicated to addressing the unique challenges facing young Jewish
women living with breast cancer." Sharasheret was founded by an AEPhi
and still keeps the views of our founders in mind as Sharsheret will not
