April 1, 2007

·        About 10 members met at Dr. Cleary’s house to begin casting the concrete canoe

·        The entire casting was competed that day

April 9, 2007

• General Meeting held in room 304 at Rowan Hall
• Pizza and soda served
• More volunteers are needed for concrete canoe
• Set date to practice canoeing on April 21
• Due to the steel supplier not having the necessary steel the Steel Bridge will not be completed
• The E-Board must still travel to Brooklyn, NY on April 13 to attend the business meeting
• 14 members in attendance

April 13, 2007

• Four E-board members traveled to Brooklyn, NY to attend the Steel Bridge business meeting at The New York City College of Technology
• Stevens Institute of Technology will host the Steel Bridge Competition next year
• Later in the evening a walking tour of the Brooklyn Bridge was provided to all who attended

April 21, 2007

• 8 members met at Rowan Hall to practice canoeing
• Dr. Jess Everett provided 2 canoes to practice
• Knee pads must be purchased to ensure the comfort of the rowers on the day of the competition

April 26, 2007

• While trying to transport the concrete canoe, it snapped in half
• The competition for the other schools will still be held on Saturday
