Who We Are

ASCE's mission is to provide essential value to it members and the public by developing leadership, advancing technology, and advocating lifelong learning and promoting the profession

We are the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter at Rowan University. The group was originally founded by Dr. Douglas Cleary in the mid 1990's. Our membership is comprised of mainly of Rowan University Civil and Environmental Engineering students, however all full time students enrolled at Rowan University are eligible for membership in our club. Membership in the National ASCE Chapter is also free of charge while enrolled here at Rowan.

The hallmark activities our group participates in are the Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe Competitions. We also hold various service projects and fundraising activities throughout the year.
