Dance extensions provides students who have dance experience with an opportunity to further explore their technique and creative abilities. As a group we work towards pushing the boundaries of contemporary dance. Dance extensions offers mandatory company classes that are open to all students at Rowan University. This class is held in Memorial Hall, Fridays during the open period from

1:45-3:00.

Dance Extensions' primary goal is to build awareness of dance as art.

Dance Extensions, the past several years, reaches out to the community by working with the CW Lewis Middle School Dance Group. In addition, Dance Extensions presents "A Dance to Remember" in memory of the events that took place on September 11, 2001. Dance Extensions invites local dance studios and alumni to perform pieces in this showcase and raise money for the families affected on 9/11. By working and dancing with different groups of dancers, Dance Extensions is able to extend passion and desire for the art of dance outside of campus.
