The Financial Management Association looks to educate our members in finance and increase opportunities available for career paths. Our meetings help provide insight from guest speakers of various professions about real world issues and also discussions of current events and personal experiences in the financial field. The ultimate goal of our organization is dedicated to help provide opportunities for networking, internships, and building relationships between students.
The Rowan University Chapter of the Financial Management Association was established in the 1970s by professor of finance, Dr. Meric, Ph.D.. As a member chapter of the FMA International, Rowan FMA has been participating in several programs offered by our parent organization, such as the FMA Trading competition and annual Leadership Conferences, as well as hosting our own programs, such as guest speaker events and field trips, in order to successfully achieve our mission's goals. We are proud to announce that Rowan FMA has been the recipient of Superior Chapter Award, an award given to only 5% of the FMA International's 200 Chapters, for two years running. In the future, we hope to uphold the same level of dedication and enthusiasm as our preceding members.
