As your son/daughter attends Rowan University, he or she will have many opportunities to become involved in campus life. They will have the chance to learn about Greek Life, the largest student organization on campus.

Greek organizations have been a part of the Rowan University community since the 1960's. The mission of the Greek Community at Rowan University is to encourage and promote intellectual curiosity through academic achievement and to develop the personal and social skills of students by providing leadership opportunities through self-governance. In addition, the Greek Community strives to promote service through the University's co-curricular programs and through community involvement.

Some of the advantages of Greek membership include:

• A support system to help with the adjustment to college life
• Resources to help students with academic pursuits
• Leadership opportunities and skills
• Participation in service projects that benefit the community and university
• Networking opportunities with alumni of their organization and other Greeks
