How do I join the IEEE? Applying for a student membership to the IEEE is now easier than ever. There are two methods for application: an online application, or by a downloadable paper application to be mailed. We recommend using the online application, as it saves a great deal of time and your membership status is instant. To apply online, visit the IEEE Student Membership Application page. Both a non-secure and secure version of the application are available; have a credit card available when applying. If you wish to apply via a paper application, stop by Dr. Jansson's office (Rowan Hall, Rm134) and pick up an application there. Membership Eligibility An IEEE student member may be enrolled in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, any other branch of Engineering, or the related arts and sciences.
