GUEST SPEAKER: DREW ANDEWS | SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY
Monday, Nov. 24th, 2008 - Room 121 in Robinson Hall at 11am.
Attend to hear Drew Anders, a 1st year of the EdS degree in School
Psychology at Rowan. He is currently the National Association for School
Psychologists student leader at Rowan and would like to promote awareness
of the profession. He is very enthusiastic to speak to us and it is hoped
that many members will be able to hear his presentation.
SERVICE PROJECT: ELEANOR CORBETT HOUSE
Friday, Nov. 22nd, 2008 - Eleanor Corbett House at 12:15-3:00pm.
MEET IN THE STUDENT CENTER AT 12:15 PM - We will organize transportation at
the Student Center for those without it. The plan is to play with the
children. Feel free to bring any food or items for the adults and children,
however, the club will provide all the necessary items. Our main purpose is
to entertain the kids. We'll bring candy, crafts, etc., but anyone who
wants to bring something is certainly welcome!
PRACTICE GRE EXAM
Friday, Nov. 21st, 2008 - 1st Floor Computer Lab in Robinson at
10:30am-1:30pm.
Attend this event to take a practice GRE exam with some of your fellow
Psychology Alliance members. The only difference between our practice exam
and the actual test: pizza and drinks! Yes, free pizza and drinks will be
provided. So be sure to RSVP in order to order enough food for everyone!
STUDENT RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
Monday, Oct. 27th, 2008 - Room 121 in Robinson at 11am.
Attend this meeting to hear your fellow peers discuss the research at Rowan
in which they are involved. Any students that have participated or are
currently involved with research are welcome (and encouraged!) to speak to
their fellow club membres about what they do, how they got involved with
research, and any benefits that they have received through the experience.

Attend to hear Rowan alumnus, Stacy Smith, and Jen Johnson from the New
Jersey Rehabilitation Association speak about vocational rehabilitation and
the organization in which they are involved.

Monday, Sept. 15th, 2008 - Room 121 in Robinson at 11am.
During this meeting, we will review club policies and discuss upcoming
events.

MOVIE NIGHT
Friday, May 2nd, 2008 - Ashley Beideman's House at 7:30pm.
Food and drinks will be provided. Ashley Beideman has kindly allowed us to
hold this event at her house.
PSYCHOLOGY PICNIC
Friday, May 2nd, 2008 - Renlund Memorial Park at 1:00pm.
Take a break from studying and come enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, chips,
snacks, and a softball game or other activity.
EASTER EGG HUNT
Saturday, Mar. 29th, 2008 - Eleanor Corbett House at 12:15pm.
Attend to visit the Eleanor Corbett House (a women's shelter) to have an
easter egg hunt with the children If you plan to attend, please meet at the
Student Center at 12:15pm, and we will organize necessary transportation.
If you cannot meet at the Student Center for whatever reason, then meet us
at the Eleanor Corbett House when we arrive at 1pm. The club will bring

Attend to hear Dr. Karen Lindgren from Bancroft NeuroHealth discuss brain
injury and career choice in this particular field. If anyone is interested
in this field, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet someone who can
provide helpful advice.
ANCORA TOUR
Friday, Feb. 15th, 2008 - Ancora Psychiatric Hospital at 12:30pm.
Please meet outside of the Psychology Department in Robinson Hall at
12:30pm because we will organize transportation at that time. If you have a
Facebook account and plan to come, make sure to RSVP as 'Attending' in our
Facebook event or contact Jeff. During our time at Ancora, there will be a
brief presentation, a tour, and time to talk to a psychologist.
