Participation & Information: E-mail your paper or abstract as an MS Word file attachment, or send a copy along with an MS Word diskette and/or your request to serve as a workshop leader, paper discussant, session chair, or conference sponsor before November 15, 2004. However, papers submitted earlier will be reviewed immediately and participants will be notified as soon as possible.

Evaluation: Competitive papers or abstracts will be anonymously evaluated by a selection committee based on relevance, innovation, creativity, and scholarship. Paper length should not exceed fifteen typewritten, double-spaced pages. Abstracts should include title, authors, objective, outline, methodology, and importance. Author identification, including mailing address and telephone number, should appear only on the cover page and refrain from identifying themselves elsewhere in the paper. Please state on the front page: “Paper for the 2005 SAM International Conference.” A nonrefundable conference registration fee is due and payable within two weeks of notification of acceptance. Authors who have abstracts accepted are required to submit their papers by February 7, 2005 .

Student Paper Track:
Graduate and undergraduate student papers are invited. This track is held exclusively for students. Papers authored jointly by faculty and students may be


presented in other areas. Please state clearly on the cover sheet: “Student Paper Track” and identify graduate or undergraduate student status.
Publications:
The final version of the papers that were selected and presented must be sent by April 25, 2005 , in order to be published in the 2005 SAM Conference Proceedings and be considered for publication in the SAM Advanced Management Journal or Management In Practice. This is intended to give authors time to review comments and to incorporate changes.
