About SHRM
SHRM is the largest professional society in the world devoted exclusively to the human resource profession. Founded in 1948, it serves more than 100,000 professional and student members. The Rowan University student chapter was established in 1976 and has been a consistent National Superior Merit Award Chapter. In May, 2000, it received the 1999-2000 Superior Merit Award given to only 60 Chapters of the 330 student chapters nationally.

The Rowan University Student SHRM Chapter is dedicated to providing the means for which students who are interested in the human resources field to learn about the profession, gain experience through internships posted, and network with experienced professionals.
