Linux users have no antivirus or antispyware requirements. Linux users are not officially supported by the University. It is expected that any user who chooses Linux will understand how to troubleshoot their own software issues.
Important: When registering, only the network interface touching Campus Manager is recorded. Linux machines do not download a scanning client and cannot present inactive interfaces.
Registering while on wireless will not register your wired MAC address, and registering on a wired connection will not register your wireless MAC address. In addition, if you do not use a network interface for more than 2 weeks it will become unregistered.
