Message from Dr. Niranjan Pati

Dean, William G. Rohrer College of Business

My sincere greetings to you!!  I appreciate your efforts to know about the programs the William G. Rohrer College of Business offers and many distinctive features it embodies.

The College holds prestigious AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International accreditation in Business on both undergraduate and graduate levels.   Further, our Management Information Systems (MIS) program holds specialized accreditation from ABET, Inc.  My colleagues and I take pride in saying that we are just one of five business schools in the United States and only school in our adjacent states to hold both coveted accreditations.

These important accreditations have been earned because of our faculty and staff’s strong commitment to incessantly engage in enhancing our student’s learning experience.  Students excel in the classroom and beyond it — whether through volunteer work, research, competitions or internships with outstanding firms. And the hallmark of the Rohrer College of Business — project-based learning— provides our students with the experience that makes them desirable to employers in many fields.

The College offers undergraduate majors in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, human resource management, management, management information systems and marketing, along with a reputed M.B.A. program with concentrations in accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, management, and marketing.   We have enhanced access to our M.B.A. degree by offering the program online through the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE).

The College contributes not only to education but also to economic development of the communities in which we live.  For instance, the Rohrer College of Business Incubator (RCBI) located at the South Jersey Technology Park (SJTP) where our students—guided by our expert faculty—help start-up companies grow.

Our students take part in leadership clubs on the campus under the aegis of the Bureau of Business Associations (BOBA).  The College supports the participation of its club members at national events where they compete with their peers and get opportunity to network with business and academic leaders.

I invite you to be a part of this learning community if you are in the search of a quality education that will take you far. I would encourage you to explore this web site further to learn about the distinctive attributes of the College.  On the other hand, if you are an alumni or a parent, or a benevolent friend of the Rohrer College of Business, I would invite you to show your generosity by contributing to make the College the very best it can be.

Best Regards ,
