Student Venture Fund
The Student Venture Fund provides students with money for market research or studying intellectual property and patent issues. Business and Engineering student teams will be eligible to request up to $2500 to get a business started. The fund is sponsored by the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA).
The College of Business Student Venture Fund is based on The Undergraduate Venture Capital Fund at Rowan University, which was created to benefit engineering students. The funds are utilized within the Engineering Clinic sequence: a multidisciplinary, project-based program. Based on the medical school model, students and faculty work side-by-side in the Engineering Clinic on design projects, applied research and product development. The same model is now being adopted by the entrepreneurial program at Rowan University.
