Robert Fleming Professor - Management Biography: Dr. Robert S. Fleming is a Professor and Chairman of the Management and MIS Department. Since joining the Rowan faculty in 1989, he has served in numerous administrative positions including Acting Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Business. He currently serves on the Campus Master Planning Committee and has chaired the University Planning and Budget Committee. Dr. Fleming is a nationally recognized authority on fire and emergency service management and domestic terrorism preparedness. He is the Chairman of the National Fire Academy Board of Visitors, within the Department of Homeland Security, and serves in leadership positions in a number of other related organizations at the local, county, state, regional, and national levels. He is frequently called upon by the local and national news media as as subject matter expert. Dr. Fleming has five earned masters' degrees and a doctorate.
