Hanmei Chen Assistant Professor - Accounting Biography: Dr.Chen earned her B.S. in Finance and M.S. in Finance from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2000 and 2002, respectively. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from Arizona State University in 2008. Prior to joining ASU she worked in auditing for the Beijing office of KPMG. Her research interests are voluntary disclosure, earnings management, and cost of capital. In the Fall 2008, she is teaching Principles of Accounting I in undergraduate level.
