Hanmei Chen Assistant Professor - Accounting Biography: Dr. Hanmei Chen joined Rowan University in 2008 after completing her PhD at Arizona State University. Dr. Chen also earned her B.S. in Finance and M.S. in Finance from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2000 and 2002, respectively. Prior to joining Arizona State University, she worked in auditing for the Beijing office of KPMG. She is a member of the American Accounting Association. Dr. Chen’s research interests include the incentives and consequences of voluntary disclosure, earnings management, and audit risk. Her research has been published in Review of Accounting and Finance, Financial Decisions, etc. Courses Taught at Rowan University:
