James Jungbae Roh holds a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Management, an M.B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Toledo, and a B.A. in Economics from Dongguk University, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Roh teaches Operations Management, Business Process Improvement, Decision Making Tools, and Business Analytics. He strives to make difference in students’ life and community through his teaching, research, and service. The recipient of Rohrer College of Business Alumni Advisory Council Award for Scholarly Achievement in 2012 and Innovation in Teaching Award in 2013, Dr. Roh published a number of research papers in journals such as Business Horizons, information & Management, International Journal of Production Research, international Journal of Production Economics, and Production Planning & Control, among others. He has also served on the Editorial Review Boards of the Academy of Business Research, and as guest-editor of Journal of Enterprise Information Management, International Journal of Business Excellence, and International Journal of Business and innovation Research. He is also invited as a reviewer of Journal of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Decision Support Systems, international Journal of Production Economics, Sustainability, and many other journals. Dr. Roh received best paper awards at the international Symposium on Supply Chain Management, Edmonton, Canada in 2014, the 2013 international Conference of the Korea Distribution Science Association and Allied Academies and outstanding empirical paper nominations at the 2012 Eastern Academy of Management. He currently serves as the Chair of the University Committee on Committees, Vice President of Beta Gamma Sigma, and Advisor of Asian Culture Association.
