Robert Beatty

Dean of the Rohrer College of Business

Biography:

Dr. Beatty brings extensive experience in education, industry and the military to the position. Most recently dean of the School of Global Commerce & Management at Whitworth University, Spokane, Wash., Dr. Beatty has served on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, Miami University, Texas Christian University and Northern Illinois University. Additionally, he has worked for the Kellogg Company and Amerada Hess Corporation. Dr. Beatty is a lieutenant colonel and special agent in the United States Air Force Reserve.

He earned a D.B.A. in business information systems and an M.B.A from Mississippi State University, a M.C.S.M. (Master of Computer Systems Management) from Creighton University and a B.A. in computer science from Texas Christian University. His research in the areas of strategic information systems and e-commerce has been published in leading academic journals and professional publications.
