Brian O'Malley

Vice Chairman of the Chairman's Advisory Council of The Grocery Manufacturers of America.

Mr. O'Malley began his career in February 1982 with Amstar Corporation (parent of Domino Sugar) in New York City after graduating with a Business degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Glassboro State College (presently named Rowan University). In August of 1991, after attaining an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University (May 1991), Mr. O'Malley joined the Sales and Marketing department at Domino Sugar. From August 1991 through January 1999, he was promoted through various sales levels to Manager - National Accounts in September 1994 and maintained that position until leaving the company in February 1999. As National Account Manager, he was also responsible for sales from Domino Sugar's sister company Western Sugar Company (headquartered in Denver, CO).

In February 1999, he resigned his position with Domino Sugar and assumed the position of Director of Strategic Planning at Refined Sugars, Inc. Just prior to joining RSI, the company had been acquired in a 50/50 partnership by Florida Crystals Corporation and The Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida. His initial responsibilities were to conduct a comprehensive analysis of current markets, the logistics infrastructure and the associated support systems. He was then charged with the responsibility of developing a strategic sales and marketing plan for RSI that would optimize profitability as well as to solidify RSI's long term position in the sweetener industry. On January 1, 2000, he was named Vice President of Sales and Marketing. On November 6, 2001, he was appointed President and C.E.O. of Domino Foods, Inc. , the marketing and sales arm of both The American Sugar Refining Company and Okeelanta Corporation.

Mr. O'Malley is a past President of the International Sugar Club and is presently the Vice Chairman of the Chairman's Advisory Council of The Grocery Manufacturers of America.

He is married to Maureen Flanagan of Massapequa, NY and they are the parents of three children (Erin (17), Michael (15) and Kevin (12) ) and they reside in Middletown, New Jersey.
