Call for Papers

In recognition of the economic and moral imperative to move quickly toward sustainable economies and societies, the conference invites proposals for presentations pertaining to all aspects of creating and managing sustainable (economic, environmental, and social) organizations and systems. While all aspects of sustainability are appropriate, proposals consistent with the following themes are of particular interest:

  • Strategic frameworks for moving toward a more sustainable future and sustainable business models
  • Greening of supply chains
  • Eco-entrepreneurship
  • Peace through commerce
  • Green collar jobs
  • Best practices in responsible management education

Presentation proposals (about five pages) must include names and contact information of the authors and an overview or synopsis. Similarly, graduate students may follow the same format and indicate the submission is for the graduate student sessions. Conference registration will be waived for all presenters. Please send all proposals, as Word attachments, to by March 6th 2009.

If there is interest in proposing a panel or symposium (preferably with academics and executives, practitioners) please e-mail with an overview and list of panelists.
