Measures of Interorganizational Power in Electronic Data Interchange Relationships

This research examines the power EDI partners exert over one another. Channel members that are involved in EDI relationships were asked to indicate the level of influence their partner uses over their operations. In addition, EDI is defined and its advantages to channel members are described. Questionaires were mailed to over 500 shippers, carriers, and customers in hte channel of distribution.
