The Evolution of E-Business Communities (EBC): Applying the Concept to the US Wine Industry
This paper looks at the development of Internet commerce within the U.S. wine industry. It examines a set of strategic threats and opportunities that shape the direction of E-commerce for the wine industry. It focuses on the concept of E-business Communities (EBCs) and their role in value creation. It also demonstrates the application of EBC models to individual wine producers as well as intermediary organizations to assess factors tha may affect the evolution of online commerce.
