Business Leadership and Practice in the Gambia
Businesses have been challenged by globalization, which makes maintaining and managing cultural differences a challenge for leaders, managers and supervisors in the 21st century. This paper explains why it is important to understand the traditional Gambian social structure in conducting business in The Gambia. The main focus of this paper is devoted to the understanding of intergenerational leadership and its importance in helping leaders and managers from the West to effectively manage and succeed in The Gambia.
