Robert T. Whyte
Robert Whyte is a professional interactive and user-experience designer
with over 15 years of experience in the web design field. He has an
extensive in-house web design agency background and currently works with
clients in the healthcare and financial industry. He specializes in
interface design and information architecture where he explores the use
of emergent technologies combined with core visual design principles.
Whyte embraces the ever changing landscape of the Internet. His
philosophy is one where designing for human beings is paramount in the
communication and usability aspects of interactive design.
He is continually involved in the region¹s design community having served
on the board of AIGA as V.P. of Experience Design as well as being a
working member of the Interactive Design Committee for 5 years. Robert is
also an active member of PhillyCHI.
Since 2000, Whyte has also been an educator in the Greater Philadelphia
area. He has taught digital and web design at Rutgers Camden, Moore
College of Art and Design, and Philadelphia University where he teaches
both undergraduate and graduate levels. Robert is a Rowan Department of
Art graduate and has an MFA in Media Design from Full Sail University.
