Student Groups

For additional experience and preparation for a career in the field of journalism, students are encouraged to work with on-campus, student-run publications and media, such as:

The Whit – weekly newspaper; member of Associated Collegiate Press and Columbia Scholastic Press Association

Venue – opinion and satire magazine; publishes six issues a year

Avant – literary magazine; publishes poetry, short stories, and artwork created by students

WGLS-FM – award-winning, 24-hour radio station broadcasting to southern New Jersey and parts of Philadelphia and Delaware

RTN – Rowan Television Network; 24 hours of broadcast student-produced programming on-campus (Channel 5)
