Master of Arts in Writing
Rowan’s well-established Master of Arts in Writing is housed in the Department of Writing Arts and provides students with a multidisciplinary approach to Writing. In addition to taking four core classes required of all MA students, graduate students develop their individual interests in one of the following tracks: Composition studies, Creative Writing/Journalism, or New Media. Two elective courses allow students to explore areas of Writing outside their track or to further deepen their expertise in a chosen area. In workshop and seminar style classes, students work closely with knowledgeable faculty and talented students. As a culminating experience, students complete a Master’s project during Seminar I and II.
