Recent English majors have studied in England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Egypt, and Australia, at such institutions as the University of Kingston, the University of Northumbria, the University of Galway, the University of Dundee, the Italian International Institute Lorenzo de Medici, the Studio Arts Centers International (SACI) in Florence, the American University of Cairo, and the University of Sydney.

Recent English majors have also received Fulbright awards for foreign study and teaching in South Africa, Spain, and South Korea.
