Geography & Environment: Internships
All four of the departmental degree programs require an internship or directed study. Our students have secured internships in a wide variety of governmental, nongovernmental and private positions. The internship experience has been invaluable for our students to gain workplace skills, additional knowledge about a particular content area, and lay the groundwork for future employment.
Some of our most popular internships are conducted with the department's Geospatial Research Lab working on funded project and research of the faculty. Dr. Zachary Christman is the current internship coordinator.
