REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDYING ABROAD
Students must make sure that they meet the following requirements in order to participate in a Study Abroad program. Please note that program providers and institutions abroad will sometimes have higher minimum entry requirements. Please be sure to pay close attention to the acceptance criteria of the program to which you are applying.

Rowan's Study Abroad Application Requirements
You are required to submit the Study Abroad Application to the International Center. You will also need to apply to your program provider of choice. (ISA, AIFS, GlobaLinks, Semester at Sea, SACI)

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS

Fill out the Initial Interest Form

The Study Abroad Coordinator will contact you to meet and discuss your goals, program choices and the application process.

Investigate program options on our website and those given by the Study Abroad Coordinator.

Meet with your Academic Advisor

Complete the Rowan Study Abroad Application by the specified deadline

Apply to your program provider & submit all necessary forms.

Step-by-Step Process

• Apply to your specific ISA program online
• Pay the $200 non-refundable deposit fee
• The International Center will send ISA your official transcript
• Print and complete supplemental pages of the application
• Laura will need to sign off on supplemental pages
• Mail completed and signed supplemental pages to ISA at
1112 W. Ben White Blvd.

• Create a MyLearn account
• Apply to your specific program online
• The International Center will send your official transcript
• YOU must send the following:
o One faculty reference
o A statement of purpose
o Copy of your passport
o Passport photos
4 for Aus/Fiji
6 for Asia
4 for Europe
o Advisor signature form- signed by Laura
• Pay your fees to GlobaLinks |
• Apply to your specific AIFS program online
• Pay the $95 non-refundable deposit fee (+ $300 fee for Summer programs)
• The International Center will send AIFS your official transcript
• YOU must send the following:
o One faculty reference
o Essay
o Passport photos (5)
o Disciplinary clearance form (signed by Laura)
o Course selection
• Pay your fees to AIFS by deadlines listed |
