Welcome

The undergraduate Law & Justice Studies program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of crime, the function of criminal law and the criminal justice system. The program focuses on preparing students for professional careers in the major areas of law enforcement and security services, court services, corrections and human services by combining an academic challenge with practical work experience through internships. The program provides the rigorous preparation necessary for students who wish to continue their education at the graduate level. The Department of Law & Justice Studies is the largest department in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Rowan University and has approximately 500 majors.

NEW BA/MA Program allows students to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice Studies and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice in FIVE years!
