New BA/MA Program

This new program allows students to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice Studies and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice in FIVE years!

12 credits can be DOUBLE COUNTED towards both the undergraduate and graduate degrees!!

To apply to the program, student must have:

  • Successfully completed 60-75 credits of undergraduate course work
  • A Cumulative GPA of 3.5 in the major and an overall cumulative GPA of 3.2
  • Successfully completed at least 15 credits within the major
  • Successfully completed at least 3 courses within the Law and Justice Studies Department at Rowan University with a B or better
  • Successfully completed at least 15 credits at Rowan University
  • Completed or be enrolled in Theories of Crime and Criminality (LAWJ05 369) and Criminal Justice Research (LAWJ05 380)

Application will consist of:

  • Two letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be from a Law and Justice Studies professor (in sealed envelopes with recommenders’ signatures across seal)
  • 300-500 word statement of purpose for attending the program with name, address, email, and phone number at top
  • Printout of Rowan Transcript

Completed application packets must be submitted to the Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Program by February 15th before your Senior Year.
