Philosophy & Religion
Rowan’s Philosophy and Religion Studies Department is proud to announce the installation of the New Jersey Lambda Chapter of Phi Sigma Tau, the International Honor Society in Philosophy.
Rowan students who have completed three semesters of coursework, have taken at least 2 Philosophy courses, and have a 3.0 GPA or better in both the Philosophy courses and overall are eligible for membership. Membership in this Honor Society is a recognition of academic excellence. Phi Sigma Tau keeps the student connected to the discipline through local chapter activities, national conferences, as well as through Dialogue, the official journal of Phi Sigma Tau. On December 10th, 2012 the Philosophy and Religion Department had a ceremony for the installation of the New Jersey Lambda Chapter of Phi Sigma Tau. New members were initiated into the Honor Society and student officers were elected. Below are some photos of the event.
