College of Humanities & Social Sciences
Orientation Session for Fulbright Scholarships
Date: Monday, April 22, 2013 @ 2:00pm
Exceptionally strong students who are interested in studying, conducting research, or teaching English abroad from fall 2014, should attend an upcoming Fulbright orientation session. Information about these grants may be found on the Fulbright website, http://us.fulbrightonline.org/. Students in all fields, including the arts, may apply for research grants, and there are some special opportunities for students in Business, Journalism, and the Sciences. Students interested in applying for an English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) grant should review the options at http://us.fulbrightonline.org/eta-program-charts.
To be eligible, students would need to graduate by August 2014. Applications will be available from May 1st. They won't be due until early October, but developing a successful application, especially for a research grant, is a time consuming process, so interested students are strongly advised to start working on their applications over the summer.
