Two Rowan professors/authors read from their newly released Young Adult novels

The Departments of English and Writing Arts are hosting a joint book reading and signing as two Rowan professors/auors read from their newly released Young Adult novels.   

Evan Roskos, English, will be reading from Dr. Bird's Advice for Sad Poets.  His work has been described as "a powerful, brave, and important debut that will make you eager to celebrate yourself. A beautifully authentic yawp" (Matthew Quick, author of The Silver Linings Playbook).   

Lisa Jahn-Clough, Writing Arts, will share excerpts from Nothing But Blue, which features "a girl with no memory, a magical dog, train-hoppers, and a boy named Snake make this sharp, suspenseful book a stand out read" ( Jack Gantos, Newbery Award author of Dead End in Norvelt).
