Date: Sunday, January 19, 2014 @ 8:15pm

R U a Downton Abbey fan? If so, you probably know that Season 4 of the popular PBS series begins in January. If you're not, then perhaps it's time to find out what Downton is all about.

To connect history with this modern media sensation, Rowan's Department of History will be hosting Downton Discussions, a series of talks prior to the weekly showing of Downton Abbey.

Downton Discussions will begin with a kick-off talk and live airing of the program on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 8:15pm in Bozorth Auditorium and run for six consecutive Sundays. Sponsored by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Student History Association, and Phi Alpha Theta, Downton Discussions will help students, faculty, staff and community residents explore British history in the early 20th century and its depiction in this award-winning series.

Mark your calendars and plan to bring a friend to immerse yourself in the world of Downton Abbey.
