Major Changes: Advertising
Students in the Advertising major and Advertising minor are no longer required to complete the courses Print Media Copywriting and Electronic Copywriting. These required courses have been replaced with the new required courses Advertising Copywriting and Account Planning (or Portfolio Preparation with permission of the instructor).
Students who have already completed both Print Media Copywriting and Electronic Copywriting do not need to take the new courses. Students have already completed one of the previously required copywriting courses do not need to take Advertising Copywriting and should take Account Planning (or Portfolio Preparation with permission of the instructor) to fulfill these requirements. Questions? See an academic adviser.
